Qalbun ("the app") is published by Myumyun Yusein, an independent developer based in Belgium. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and what rights you have over it. Questions go to support@qalbun.app.
Data we collect
Qalbun collects only what it needs in order to work:
- Information you provide during onboarding (age range, preferences, personalisation choices).
- Technical usage data, used to understand how the app performs and to improve it.
- Information relating to subscriptions and in-app purchases, if you use Premium.
- Device and advertising identifiers, used for measurement and attribution as described below.
- Contact details, where you choose to give them — for example when you email support.
No sensitive data is collected without your consent.
How we use it
- To personalise your experience in the app.
- To improve features and the quality of the service.
- To diagnose and fix bugs and technical problems.
- To manage subscriptions and Premium access rights.
- To measure the performance of our advertising, in aggregate.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise Qalbun on third-party platforms. To know whether that advertising works, the app uses identifiers and usage data that may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. This is limited to attribution and measurement — how many people installed the app, and what it cost us. We do not sell your data, and we do not build advertising profiles for anyone else.
On iOS you control this. If you decline App Tracking Transparency when prompted, or turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in your device settings, tracking identifiers are not used. The app remains fully functional either way.
Storage and security
Data is stored securely and is accessible only to authorised people. We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information.
Sharing
Your personal data is never sold. It may be shared only with the technical services the app depends on — hosting, in-app payment processing, analytics and advertising measurement — and only within the limits of applicable regulation.
Retention
Data is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or until you ask for your data to be deleted, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Have it corrected or erased.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, its processing.
- Receive your data in a portable form.
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In Belgium this is the Data Protection Authority.

Children
Qalbun is rated 4+ and contains no content unsuitable for children, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
This policy may be updated. Any change will be published on this page, with the date at the top revised accordingly.
